Our instructors have experience across many areas of skydiving, from tandem jumps and beginner training to advanced disciplines, competition, instructor development and international skydiving projects.

Our members include current and former Croatian national skydiving team members, as well as competitors who have participated in World and European Championships, World Cups and other international competitions.

Every instructor brings a unique background, specialization and professional journey to the team. We believe you should have the opportunity to get to know the people behind Skydive Croatia.

Expertise Backed by National and International Qualifications

The quality of a skydiving organization cannot be measured by the number of jumps alone. Formal qualifications, experience in different situations, equipment knowledge, instructional methods and continuous professional development are equally important.

Our team holds a wide range of national and international skydiving licenses and ratings, including qualifications for tandem skydiving, AFF instruction, Static Line and IAD training, and other specialized skydiving activities.

We place particular importance on keeping up with developments in the skydiving industry, equipment manufacturer recommendations, safety guidelines and changes in the regulatory environment.

Angelo Vuletić – Chief Instructor

The organization's instructional activities are led by Angelo Vuletić, Chief Instructor and President of Skydive Croatia.

With more than 6,000 skydives, extensive instructional experience and a broad range of national and international qualifications, he remains actively involved in skydiver training, tandem operations, instructor supervision and the development of training programs.

His qualifications include:

• CCAA D Skydiving License
• CCAA Tandem Instructor
• CCAA AFF Instructor
• CCAA Static Line Instructor
• CCAA Skydiver Examiner
• CCAA Senior Rigger
• USPA D License
• USPA Tandem Instructor
• USPA AFF Instructor
• USPA Static Line Instructor
• USPA IAD Instructor
• USPA Coach
• USPA Safety & Training Advisor (S&TA)
• Tandem instructor qualifications for UPT Sigma, Strong Enterprises and ParaAvis systems
• Private Pilot License (PPL)

This combination of instructional, technical and operational experience forms an important part of our team's professional foundation.

Safety – The Foundation of Every Skydive

Skydiving involves inherent risks that can never be completely eliminated. Our responsibility is to identify, assess and reduce those risks as far as reasonably practicable.

For this reason, safety is not simply part of our presentation. It is fundamental to how we plan and conduct our skydiving activities.

Before each jumping day, we assess weather conditions, aircraft availability and condition, parachute equipment, instructor availability, landing areas and other factors that may affect operational safety.

Our safety checks include equipment preparation, correct harness fitting and inspection, verification of tandem attachment points, pre-exit procedures, and appropriate preparation of passengers and students.

Our instructors are trained to recognize and respond to emergency situations, including main parachute malfunctions, reserve parachute deployment procedures and other situations requiring prompt and correct decision-making.

Why Do We Sometimes Postpone Skydives?

Wind speed, gusts, turbulence, cloud cover, visibility, precipitation and landing-area conditions can all influence the decision to conduct skydiving operations. We will not proceed with a jump simply because it has been booked in advance or because a passenger has already arrived at the airfield.

When conditions are unsuitable, postponing a skydive is the correct professional decision.

Parachute Equipment and Technical Expertise

Parachute equipment is one of the essential elements of skydiving safety. However, its effectiveness also depends on correct use, maintenance, inspections and the qualifications of those responsible for handling it.

Our instructors and technical personnel are familiar with different parachute systems, their characteristics, limitations and manufacturer requirements.

Tandem parachute systems are equipped with both a main and a reserve parachute. Their safety configuration also includes automatic activation devices (AADs), which are designed to initiate reserve parachute deployment automatically when specific conditions are met.

We pay particular attention to equipment inspections, correct parachute packing, harness and container condition, attachment points and compliance with prescribed maintenance intervals.

Our team also includes personnel holding qualifications for technical inspections and reserve parachute packing.

USPA Affiliate Drop Zone – Connected to the International Skydiving Community

Skydive Croatia is a USPA Affiliate Drop Zone, connecting our organization with the international skydiving community.

The United States Parachute Association (USPA) is one of the world's best-known skydiving organizations, with an established system of training programs, instructor qualifications and safety recommendations.

Through USPA programs, international contacts and professional knowledge exchange, we aim to give Croatian skydivers access to modern training methods and experience gained through international practice.

At the same time, our operations are conducted in accordance with applicable Croatian regulations and the scope of our authorizations.

Our goal is not simply to follow developments in international skydiving, but to actively bring valuable knowledge and experience into the Croatian skydiving community.

Skydiving School – From Your First Jump to Becoming an Independent Skydiver

For many people, a tandem skydive is their first introduction to skydiving. For some, it is an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience. For others, it marks the beginning of a lifelong involvement in the sport.

Skydive Croatia is authorized by the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency (CCAA) to provide skydiver training.

Alongside training conducted under Croatian regulations, we provide training through all three USPA methods: AFF, Static Line and IAD.

AFF – Accelerated Freefall

Accelerated Freefall is an intensive training method in which students experience freefall from their very first jump while accompanied by instructors. Throughout the course, students progressively develop stability, altitude awareness, parachute deployment skills and independent canopy control.

Static Line

Static Line is a traditional training method that provides a gradual introduction to skydiving. During the initial stages of training, the main parachute deployment sequence is initiated by a static line attached to the aircraft.

IAD – Instructor-Assisted Deployment

Instructor-Assisted Deployment is a training method in which an instructor positioned in the aircraft assists with the initial deployment of the student's main parachute during exit.

Further Training and Progression

Training includes theoretical and practical preparation, equipment familiarization, emergency procedures, supervised jumps and ongoing evaluation of each student's progress.

Our goal is to develop independent skydivers who understand what they are doing at every stage of a jump.

Croatian National Team Members and International Experience

Skydiving is much more than tandem jumps. The sport includes numerous disciplines, from accuracy landing and formation skydiving to freeflying and other advanced disciplines.

Members of our team have participated in national and international competitions, represented Croatia and gained experience at drop zones around the world.

Our members include current and former Croatian national skydiving team members, as well as participants in World and European Championships, World Cups and other competitions.

This experience allows us to approach skydiving from several perspectives: competitive, instructional, technical and operational.

We aim to pass on the knowledge gained through international competition and professional experience to new generations of Croatian skydivers.

Authorized Dealerships and Cooperation with Leading Skydiving Equipment Manufacturers

In addition to tandem skydiving and skydiver training, our team is actively involved in the distribution, sale and technical support of skydiving equipment.

Through Skydive Deal, we cooperate with established international skydiving equipment manufacturers. Our advantage is not simply product knowledge gained from catalogs, but practical experience from instructors, skydivers and technical personnel who regularly use and maintain different parachute systems.

Our authorized dealerships and distribution partnerships include the following manufacturers:

Professional Advice When Choosing Skydiving Equipment

Selecting skydiving equipment should never be based solely on price or appearance. Important considerations include the skydiver's experience, physical characteristics, canopy type and size, component compatibility, intended use and maintenance requirements.

We aim to provide our customers with advice based on practical experience in skydiving, instruction, equipment use and maintenance.
